The horses from Disneyland have been enjoying their extended “vacation” at the Circle-D Ranch, but they got into the spirit with their own costumes for Halloween. Horses Chief and Chad were decked with flowers representing traditional carousel horses, Jack dressed as an African okapi, Maximus was dressed as – get ready for this – a baked potato! Val dressed for the upcoming holiday with red, green, and ribbons, Finn dressed as Flynn Rider, and Gracie dressed as a bee! To see all these costumes, make sure to check out the link in our show notes! – https://dlnewstoday.com/2020/10/photos-horses-of-circle-d-ranch-at-disneyland-resort-dress-up-for-halloween/
Listeners of the show know that we love the churro toffee from the parks. Pumpkin Spice has come to the popular treat! This version was available at the California Churro Co. cart in Downtown Disney until Halloween. On the white chocolate outside, pumpkin spice and orange colored sugar has been added for this fall treat. We hope that they bring this back in the future! – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2020/10/29/review-the-limited-time-pumpkin-spiced-toffee-is-available-now-in-downtown-disney/
You might have missed the pumpkin spice churro toffee at the resort, but you can make your own regular churro toffee at home! A quick warning if you go and look for an image from this story: it is a little creepy. Walt Disney Imagineering is working on a next-generation animatronic that breathes and stares at you. This new technology allows for subtle eye and head movements, allowing the animatronic to interact more realistically with guests. The video that we have linked in the show notes is amazing, and a little creepy, to watch. – https://t.co/KcbdTw8dSQ
