This week, Disney posted a first look at the Wonderful World of Animation 30th Anniversary nighttime spectacular coming to Hollywood Studios May 1st. The show is described as “uniquely Hollywood Studios” and incorporates a lot of different animated movies. –—go-behind-the-scenes-for-a-first-look-at-the-new-wonderful-world-of-animation-projection-show.htm

If you are going to be visiting Epcot on May 2nd, you will want to look to the skies to see the Blue Angels. The team from the US Navy will be there to make two passes over the park in celebration of Military Appreciation Month. –

With Galaxy’s Edge getting closer and closer to opening a the end of May in Disneyland, the Play Disney Parks app has been updated to include Galaxy’s Edge. The app will give you a slight preview of what is to come in these new lands. –

Fancy Nancy from Disney Junior has joined the other Disney Junior characters in Hollywood Studios this week. She is usually available from 9:30am to 6pm in the Animation Courtyard, replacing Sofia the First. A new set of head wear has come to Animal Kingdom. The new Donald Duck ears are made to look like Donald Duck’s legs and back side. These have been available in Tokyo Disneyland for some time now, but this is the first time they have come to the parks in the US. –

If pin trading and Up! are two of your favorite things, then the Disneyland Paris resort is the place for you this June. On June 15th, at the Newport Bay Club Convention Center, you can take part in a pin trading event themed to Up! Tickets are 55 Euros and include brunch and a voucher good to get one free pin up to 14.99. You can get tickets on the Disneyland Paris website. The event is limited to 400 guests. –

Disneyland Paris canceled the first ever “Hip Hop Live Experience” this week. Guests who purchased tickets have been notified and been refunded. There is no word on the reason for the cancellation, except that maybe Hip Hop didn’t fit in with the Disney brand image or that ticket sales were low. –

Drones over any Disney Park are illegal, but that didn’t stop a 35 year old German tourist from taking to the skies this week. The guest was taken into custody by park security around 9:15pm on Wednesday. He explained that he was just trying to get some good pictures for his vacation, but security deleted the images and video from his devices. The guest was released with a warning. –
