After a long 16 month refurbishment, Phantom Manor has reopened to guests. The reworked attraction includes new lighting and audio effects in the foyer, new stretching room portraits, artwork in the hallway after the stretching room that reacts to the storm outside, new tombstones, and Melanie on the stairs looking out the window at load, and in the Doom Buggy with guests at the end. –

After Phantom Manor debuted with a new theme, the ballroom music, which was the same as the music in the Disneyland ballroom scene, caused quite a stir from guests. After outcry, Disneyland Paris returned the original soundtrack to that scene. –

Dates for the Halloween Festival and Enchanted Christmas have been announced. The Halloween Festival will run from September 28th through November 3rd, and Enchanted Christmas will run November 9th through January 5th. – or

Guests who need accessibility cards can now utilize new windows under the Disneyland Hotel instead of heading to City Hall. The windows were added to allow for ease of guest flow in the morning as the park is opening. –

Western River Railroad, Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer Island, Canoes, and Splash Mountain closed at Tokyo until September 3. Gadget’s Go Coaster is closed until July 22 –

Hong Kong Disneyland now has the most expensive entrance fee for a theme park in Asia, after it raised it’s one-day admission fee by 3.2-percent last month. The one day ticket is now $82. It’s the fifth time the fee has been raised since the park opend in 2005. The park has seen its struggles — last year the resort recorded its fourth straight year of deficits, even though 2018 was much improved compared to 2017. –

Frozen Land at HK could be called Arendelle: World of Frozen based on trademarks filed with the government. We also learned it comes with 2 attractions, possibly named “Frozen Ever After” (boat ride) and “Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs” (coaster ride). –

A Japanese rail company is celebrating Mickey’s 90th birthday by sending him and guests on a trip…sort of. One of the company’s bullet trains is being skinned with the theme “Go! Waku Waku Trip with Mickey.”| It will takes guests on an about two hour ride down the country’s southern-most island. In Japanese, “Waku Waku” means something is exciting. –
