News: has reported that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway may miss its Fall 2019 opening and be pushed back to an early 2020 opening. No word on what is causing the possible delay. –

It feels like the holidays just ended, but you can get your tickets now for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Returning for the 2019 season are a holiday-themed parade, fireworks, and stage shows like “A Frozen Holiday Wish” with Queen Elsa, who transforms Cinderella Castle into a winter castle with glistening ice. Tickets start at $99 for select nights after a $10 advance-purchase savings. Dates and a link to buy tickets are in our show notes at –

Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the Toy Story gang will be hosting Woody’s Roundup for the 4th of July at the Contemporary Resort. The roundup will be a barbecue buffet and character experience running July 4th through July 6th. Meet and Greets will include Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Bullseye. Tickets are $149 for adults and $99 for children 3-9, and includes tax and gratuity. –

This week PhotoPass came to the Haunted Mansion! As you journey through the attraction, a photo will be taken of you in the Doom Buggy and some playful spooks might join you! This is the 13th PhotoPass attraction in Disney World. To take advantage of this new location, you do need a MagicBand or a MagicBand 2 Icon in a MagicKeeper that is linked to your Disney account. There will also be some special opportunities around the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom on April 13th to celebrate this addition. –

If you like villains, then the Disney After Hours events will be the place to be from June 6th through August 8th. Some of the villainous new experiences include a Villains Stage Show called Villains Unite the Night, Maleficent the Dragon from the Festival of Fantasy Parade will be lurking around the park, and additions to Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. Of course, there will also be villain inspired merchandise, food and beverages. The unfortunate part of this is that there will be no meet and greets with the villains. –

The 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival and 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays dates have been announced. The Food and Wine Festival will run August 29th to November 23rd, making it the longest to date. Returning highlights include the Eat to the Beat concert series from August 29th through November 19th. The Festival of the Holidays will return on November 29th and run through December 30th. As usual, there will be special entertainment, storytelling, and more. –

Bo Peep from Toy Story will be coming to Disneyland Paris, Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure, and Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios this summer. –

Toy Story & Pixar Pals Summer Splash is coming to Hong Kong Disneyland this summer. The event runs from June 26th to September 1st and features and upgraded Pixar Water Play Street Party, Toy Story 4 characters, and new food and merchandise. The Pixar Water Play Street Party will have two new floats form Toy Story and Finding Nemo, new characters, and over 40 performers. –

Duffy’s Sunny Fun is coming to Tokyo DisneySea from June 6th to August 27th. The event will have Duffy and Friends enjoying the summer on the beach in Cape Cod. The Cape Cod area of DisneySea will have new decorations, and have deck chairs and sand where Duffy and Friends can play and relax with. Of course, there will also be over 40 new holiday-themed merchandise items from summer outfits for Duffy and Friends to a new mini inflatable coaster. –

For the first time ever, Shanghai Disneyland is hosting an International Food and Drink festival. The festival will take place in Disneytown from April 12th to May 4th. Guests can eat and drink a number of selections from around the world, and participate in cooking classes, or watch entertainment throughout Disneytown. There will be 13 different market booths to choose from from Hawaii to the Middle East. –

In the second major expansion in the parks history, Shanghai Disneyland is getting a new Zootopia themed land. Construction will begin this year and will include a state-of-the-art attraction that brings the characters and world of Zootopia to life. There will also be new entertainment, merchandise, and food and beverage offerings. Shanghai Disneyland is the perfect location for this expansion as Zootopia is the highest grossing animated feature film in China. –
